Douglas O. Totty

Douglas O. Totty went to live with his Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2015. He was 77. A retired Captain of the Memphis Fire Department, Mr. Totty was a graduate of Southside High School Class of 1956; a veteran of the Air National Guard and Member of the White Station Church of Christ. Family and friends will gather to share stories and precious memories on Wednesday, September 16 from eleven o’clock in the morning until services begin at one ‘clock in the afternoon all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Burial will follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2:45p.m. Mr. Totty was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn Austin and baby brother Robert Wayne Totty. He is survived by his wife Linda Totty; daughter Caron Strong; sons Keith Totty (Tonya), John Totty (Trish), Michael Totty (Jennifer) and Christopher Hendrickson; sister Christine Coble (Ron); brother Bud Totty (Tiki); eight grandchildren Cayla, Logan, Hannah, Emily, Allison, Connor, Kylan & Brayden; and his best friend Toby.
