Dovie Parrott Harding, 85, of Lakeland, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband who she married on March 10th, 1951, Gerald Harding, Sr. and her son Gerald Harding, Jr. Mrs. Harding is survived by her two sons Stephen (Janet) Harding and Cliff (Cristi) Harding, three grandchildren Justin, Jared and Emily Harding and a great-grandson Cooper Harding. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 12th from 12-2pm with the funeral starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. There will be a private burial at Memorial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
