Earl Cedric Mercer Jr.

Earl met his wife, Susan in 1981. After a short time knowing one another, they married and were married for 39 years. A few years after they got married, they started their family. He worked for Regional Adjustment Bureau for 26 years. He loved fishing, Nascar, western movies, and thunderstorms.

Earl is survived by his wife, Susan, their son, Michael (Susie), their son, Patrick (Stephanie), their daughter, Marie (Joel), and 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Audrey, in-laws, Donna (Vic), Patty, Kelly, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Davidson and Earl C Mercer Sr.

Funeral service visitation will be at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122 on Friday July 24, 2020 from 1-2 pm with funeral service at 2pm. We will also have a small burial service at graveside you can attend. Location is Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38134.
