Edward Vinson Littrell

Edward Vinson “Eddie” Littrell, 85, of Memphis, Tennessee died December 21, 2011. A retired General Motors employee and former owner of Littrell’s Drapery Shop, Mr. Littrell was a WWII Air Force Veteran, member of the Gideon’s since 1979, former member of Richland Baptist Church and current member of Bellevue Baptist Church. His family will receive guests and friends on Monday, December 26 from 5PM – 8PM and funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 27 beginning at 10AM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Avenue. Burial with Air Force Honors will be provided at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Littrell was preceded in death by his wives Louise Able Littrell & Naomi Brantley Littrell; parents Alfred & Wessie Littrell; grandsons Joshua Vernon & Jonathan Vinson Littrell; sisters Julita Littrell & Ruby Littrell Carson; and brother Hollis Littrell. He is survived by his two sons Mark Vinson Littrell o f Knoxville, TN and Jonathan Kreig Littrell of Kentucky; grandsons Christopher William &Colby Wayne Littrell; and sister Jean Littrell Stover of Martin, TN.
