Born to Zohra and Terrence I.C. Ghosh, she attended Presentation Convent School before earning Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from University of the Punjab, a Masters in Political Science from Quad-i-Azam University, and completing additional studies at Bowling Green State University. A devout educator by profession, her career ranged from lecturing at Army Burn Hall College to teaching English as a Second Language for children and adults and school teaching at the K-12 level in New Jersey, Tennessee, Arkansas, and the Republic of Yemen. She enjoyed literature, health science, cooking, and, as a woman of Christian faith, scripture.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Danzel and Noel. She is survived by her son Samson, Samson's father, Riasat Mobashar, and brothers Kenneth and Eric. She is also survived by a large extended family including dear cousins, nieces, and others in USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan.
A celebration of life and reception will be held at 2pm CT on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee.
