We are pleased to announce the celebration of the life of Frank Thomas Farris Sr. born May 2, 1926 to the parents of Hobart and Della Farris in Sparta, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brothers: Sarah, Kenton, Buzz, Glenn, Bob and Jimmy Farris. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Sue Farris, son Frank T Farris Jr. of Memphis, daughter Mary Sloan Farris of Colorado Springs and his loving grandchildren Christine Michele and Emily Gene Farris.
Frank was a man who was proud to have served our nation during WW II. He was a signalman for Landing Craft Transporters which hit the beaches of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He worked at White Motor Company and Peterbilt trucks as Sales Manager for most of his life. He was a man of faith and had a strong love of family and country. He was promoted to the Kingdom of God October 23, 2012
