Franklin Craig Stallings, 86 entered the joy of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Born in South Florida on December 27, 1930, Frank faithfully served his country as a Marine radio repairman during the Korean War. He later combined those talents and abilities, applying them in an extensive career with Florida Power & Light Company. He then spent the next several years in DeLand, Florida, enjoying retirement. Reformed in his theology, Frank actively participated in Evangelism Explosion during the early years, and remained active serving their church body and others God placed in his path. Amateur radio, Gospel bluegrass music and anything Florida Gators were among his leisure passions. Married for 66 years, Frank is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Audrey Obarski Stallings and youngest daughter, Melanie Ann Mills (Ed). He is survived by many loving extended family members. He leaves two children, daughter Lorinda Sue Hill (Chip) from Germantown, TN and son Kenneth Craig Stallings (Tina) from Dacula, Georgia. Additionally, he leaves three grandchildren, Jonathan Christopher Hill, Edward Mills and Elizabeth Joy Hill-Booker (Brian). Above all else, the most significant passion of Frank’s life was his relationship with Jesus Christ, acquired by God’s grace alone granted through faith alone in Christ alone.
