Franklin Rivers Lott, Sr., 91, of Collierville, TN, passed away on January 4, 2018. He was born on November 7, 1926, in Water Valley, MS, to Rev. James Gordon Lott, Sr. and Earle Rivers Lott.

He was a graduate of Memphis State College and was a retired warehouse manager at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he worked for over 35 years. He was also a retired Minister of Music, serving the Lord at First Baptist Church in Millington, TN, for 30 years.

He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the church choir.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Justus; a son, Franklin R. Lott, Jr.; three grandchildren, Robert Stafford Justus, Jr. (Michelle), Jarrod A. Justus, and Audrey J. Norton (Ray); three great-grandchildren, Jackson Justus, Shelby Justus, and Brooks Norton.

Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Peggy Walker Lott; two sisters, Edna Earle Lott and Doris Alsup; one brother, Rev. James Gordon Lott, Jr., and one great-grandson, Rivers Norton.

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, January 17, in the rotunda at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
