FREDIA MAE PRATER SHAPPLEY, 96, of Memphis, died Saturday of natural causes at Dove Health & Rehab of Collierville. Services will be at 11 AM Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a member of White Station Church of Christ. Mrs. Shappley, the widow of William Vance Shappley Sr., leaves two sons, Dr. W. Vance Shappley Jr. of Germantown and Larry Lee Shappley of Collierville; three grandsons, Dr. W. V. Shappley III of Memphis, Robert Shappley of Memphis, and Bailey Shappley of Collierville; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Shappley of Memphis. The family requests that any memorials be sent to White Station Church of Christ.
