Gary Lamont Harrell

Gary Lamont Harrell, of Brunswick, Tn was born December 6, 1939, passed away February 15, 2026. Gary was a Veteran and served in the Marine Corps for four years 1958-1962. He played baseball for the Marine Corps the last 2 years of his service and he was an All-Star both years.

Gary loved sports and graduated from Bolton High School in 1957. He was a great basketball and baseball player under the coaching of the beloved Duane Pope. Gary was an avid golfer and worked many years at Fox Meadows Golf Course. He enjoyed playing golf and having lunch at the McWherter Senior Center, with his friends. His working years were at International Harvester and Memphis Light, Gas, and Water.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Harrell, his mother Margorie Harrell, his sister, Glenda Graff, and a brother Snowden Harrell. He is survived by his sisters, Lana Beach (Tom) and Sheri Butler and a brother, Joe Harrell (Pat), Sister-in-law Annelle Harrell, also, many nephews and nieces.

Family Funeral Care is in charge with graveside services at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee which will be held at a later date.
