Harold “Gene” Ralph, 80, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. Mr. Ralph was a retired Captain of the Dredge Boat Burgess with the U.S. Corps of Engineers. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Aloha Ralph; one daughter, Katherine Boyd (Brad); one son, Harold “Skip” Ralph, Jr.; one brother, Voncile Ralph; and three nieces, Nita Humphrey, Kaye Earwood, and Bobbie Costley. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bessie Ralph, one sister, Felice Earwood, and one brother, Floyd Ralph. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 17 from 9 am till the service starts at 10 am at Family Funeral Care on Summer Ave. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
