Harry Eugene Owen, 84, of Germantown, passed away on May 12, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends with a catered reception on Saturday May 14, between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will be held at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, May 19, at 1:15 p.m., with Military Honors. Mr. Owen was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, having served during the Korean War aboard the USS Eldorado. He retired from Holiday Inns, Inc. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joe McAlpin Owen; and his sister, Betty Owen Montgomery. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Owen of Germantown; his son, William E. Owen (Carol) of New Port Richey, FL; two sisters, Sara Criner and Joyce Fawver; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Sexton and Tyler E. Owen.
