Hazel Dickerson, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the age of 82. She was retried from Sears after 33 years and a member of Elliston Baptist Church. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Jess Dickerson and three brothers Wilburn, Carl, and Jimmy Parrish. She leaves her sons Jeff Dickerson (Laura), Greg Dickerson (Angela), and five grandchildren Blake, Jacob, Katelyn, Megan and Nathan. There will be a gathering of family and friends from five o’clock until seven o’clock, on the evening of Monday, September 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held at ten o’ clock, the morning of Tuesday, September 8, 2015 all to be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119. The family requests that any memorials in honor of Hazel be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
