

Isaac Walton Boling, 90, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, formerly of Stuttgart, Arkansas and Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on February 6, 2025, at New Hope Senior Living in Hendersonville. He was born on January 8, 1936, in Bells, Tennessee and was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Boling, his parents, Harry and Louise Boling, and his brother Billy Boling.
Isaac retired from Sears, after working 40 years and spent the next 25 years caring for his wife following a critical illness. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years and previously served for many years as a deacon at Bellevue Baptist Church. He also served more than 10 years as a reserve officer with the Memphis Police Department. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed woodworking, creating some timeless and cherished works of craftsmanship.
His kind and gentle spirit, along with his sweet smile and sparkling eyes, touched the lives of so many, even into his last days. He unselfishly poured his life into his family and cherished his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He leaves a daughter Paula (Jim) of Shelby Alabama; two sons, David (Pam) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and Mark (Julie) of Stuttgart, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on February 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Family Funeral Care, located at 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, Tennessee. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee, at 2:00 pm on the same day. Isaac Walton Boling will be laid to rest at Memphis Memory Gardens.
