Mr. Joyce Gail "J. G." Ballard, a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, died December 22, 2011 after a long illness. He was a member of Maple Free Will Baptist Church, a Mason and was a retired Teamsters truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Gina Ballard; two sons, Keith and Brian; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Cheyann, Jacob, Tyler and Madelyn. He also leaves four siblings, Martha, Betty, Cathy, Richard; and brother-in law, Joe Sauer and wife, Linda. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, beginning at 11 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home And Memorial Gardens, followed by a military graveside service at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
