James Spencer Starnes, 35, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2023. Born and raised in Memphis, TN, he loved the city, music, Memphis basketball, and his family deeply. He was so loved and his absence will be felt by many for a long time. He is survived by his father, James Brent Starnes; mother, Elisabeth Brown; stepmother, Leigh Thomas; grandmothers, Gail Starnes and Barbara Brown; sister, Michelle Linski; nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held in his honor at Memphis Memory Gardens: 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38134 on Thursday, August 3rd 2023 at 1 PM.
