Amanda Jane Nolen, age 97, of Germantown, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Miss Nolen was born June 21, 1925 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Mary Nolen and her sisters, Lady Janice, Betty B., and Eleanor Nolen. She is survived by her many cousins, including Nolen Street of Woodland Hills, California and Joe Verser of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Miss Nolen graduated from Messick High School and for many years worked at Kennedy General Army Hospital and the VA Medical Center, Memphis in several capacities but mostly in property management.
She was a member of the Union Avenue Church of Christ and Woodland Hills Church of Christ.
Service will be Wednesday, October 5 at 2:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar with visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials may be directed to Woodland Hills Church of Christ or Sunnybrook Children's Home, PO Box 4871, Jackson, MS 39296-4871.
