Strayhorn-Jerry Wayne Cox, 69, formerly of Memphis and retired employee of FDIC lost his long battle with cancer on July 13, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Lindsey Cox, two sons, Bill Cox and wife, Chris of Round Rock, TX, Jeff Cox and wife, Megan of Senatobia, MS, two grandsons, one great-grandson, and two brothers, Billy Cox of Ruleville and Guy Cox of Drew, MS. A Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at Hernando Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ruleville, MS.
