Jerry Lee Crawford, 79, of Cordova, TN died Saturday, July 30 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was the son of Vandiver and Mary Evelyn Jobe Crawford of Ripley, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe and James Derryl Crawford both of Ripley, MS and his son-in-law, John Kevin Taylor of Goose Creek, SC,
He was a native of Tippah County and a retired retail salesman/manager for Ripley Parts and Standard Motor Supply in New Albany. Jerry was also the manager of AutoZone prior to his retiring due to health issues. He was a Deacon for North Trident Baptist Church in Ladson SC and a member of Covenant Baptist Church, Collierville, TN. Jerry loved traveling and sightseeing. His greatest love was for his children and grandchildren.
Jerry is leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years, Linda Jeter Crawford of Cordova; his daughter, Angelyn Taylor of Goose Creek, SC; his son, Dr. Jeremy Shane Crawford (Jill) of Water Valley, MS; 5 grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor Wright (Joe) of Summerville, SC, John Cody Taylor and Molly Taylor, both of Goose Creek, SC, Steven and Jacob Crawford, both of Water Valley, MS.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10am until 11am with a memorial service to follow at Covenant Baptist Church, 3170 S Houston Levee Rd, Collierville, TN 38017.
