Jimmy Ray Collins

Jimmy Ray Collins, 87, passed away October 22, 2019. He was born in Benton, AR. He lived in Memphis 41 years and Lakeland for 10 years. He loved motorcycles and taking motorcycle trips, he also loved the outdoors where he did a lot of hunting and fishing. Jimmy was also a self taught taxidermist.

Jimmy was preceded by his wife, Geneva M. Collins; parents, Mr and Mrs Bill Collins; sister, Patsy Bryant and brother, Gene Collins. He is survived by two daughters, Tammie Hope Collins and Sherry Collins Dacus (Edward L.); grandchildren, Darrell Collins Dacus (Leslie) and Dane Clendon Dacus (Alicia); great-grand sons, Andrew Collins Dacus, Spencer Owen Dacus and Chase Brayden Dacus; great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Dacus.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 25th from 6-7pm at Family Funeral Care with services to follow at 7pm. The graveside service will take place Saturday, October 26th at 1pm at McPherson Cemetery in Benton, AR.
