Jimmy Tin

Jimmy 于 1949 年 随父亲 Sun Tin、母亲 Mo Wan San 举家迁居香港，在香港接受教育并成长。

1968 年，他在香港结识了相濡以沫、携手一生的妻子 Maggie Tin（罗兆芳）。

1972 年，夫妻二人怀抱理想来到美国，追求属于他们的美国梦。

1973 年，他们定居田纳西州孟菲斯市，创立了第一家中餐馆 “琼楼”。

1974 年 8 月，长女 Ginger （田津津）出生。

1976 年，餐馆迁址并更名为 大上海（Jimmy Tin’s Port Shanghai）。

1978 年，小女儿 Jolie （田殷殷） 降临，为家庭带来更多欢笑与喜悦。

1989 年，餐馆结业后，Jimmy Tin 开始在 Horseshoe Casino 工作，直至 2002 年退休。

退休之后，Jimmy Tin本着回馈社会与大爱的精神，将家族传承的 气功穴位推拿 技艺无私奉献，长期免费帮助身患病痛的侨胞及各族裔人士，缓解他们的身体疼痛和痛苦，赢得了广泛的尊重和深厚的爱戴

Jimmy Tin是一位 忠诚的丈夫、挚爱的父亲，更是一位极具责任感的人。

他待朋友热情真诚，正直慷慨，仁慈宽厚；

他一生循循善诱、关怀后辈，倾注心力教导爱徒 Kitty 气功与推拿技艺，致力于传承中华传统医学的精神与精髓，对后人产生了深远影响。

家人由衷感谢所有亲友多年来给予他的友情与关爱。

在生命的最后时刻，Jimmy Tin在 爱妻 Maggie、爱女 Jolie，以及爱徒 Kitty（小燕子） 的陪伴下，平静安详地走完了人生的旅程。

他在亲人环绕中安然离世，这份宁静与圆满，亦为家人带来深深的安慰。

Jimmy Tin, born on December 12, 1941, passed away peacefully at 7:45 PM on December 30, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 84.

In 1949, Jimmy moved to Hong Kong with his parents, Sun Tin and Mo Wan San, where he received his education and grew up.

In 1968, he met his beloved wife, Maggie Tin, in Hong Kong. Their partnership became one of lifelong devotion and mutual support.

In 1972, Jimmy and Maggie immigrated to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream.

They settled in Memphis, Tennessee, and in 1973, they opened their first Chinese restaurant, “Qiong Lou.”

Their first daughter, Ginger, was born in August 1974.

In 1976, the restaurant relocated and was renamed Jimmy Tin’s Port Shanghai.

In 1978, their youngest daughter, Jolie, was born.

In 1989, Jimmy closed the restaurant and began working at Horseshoe Casino, where he remained until his retirement in 2002.

After retiring, Jimmy devoted himself to giving back to the community. Drawing upon his family’s traditional Qigong and acupressure massage practices, he generously helped people of many backgrounds, including overseas Chinese people, relieved their bodily pain and suffering, earning widespread respect and deep affection.

Jimmy was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of strong responsibility and character.

His warmth, integrity, generosity, and kindness were evident in all his relationships.

He devoted his life to guiding and younger generations, pouring his heart into teaching his apprentice, Kitty, the arts of Qigong and acupressure massage. He was deeply committed to preserving and passing on the spirit and essence of traditional Chinese medicine, leaving a profound and lasting impact on those who followed. His family is deeply grateful for the friendship and care shown to him over the years.

In his final moments, Jimmy was surrounded by his beloved wife Maggie, his loving daughter Jolie, and his devoted student Kitty, as he peacefully took his last breath.

He departed this world calmly and serenely, embracing by family and loved ones, bringing comfort to all who mourned him.

Jimmy Tin was preceded in death by his parents, Sun Tin and Mo Wan San.

He is survived by his wife Maggie Tin; his eldest daughter Ginger Gin Gin Tin, son-in-law Ian Wynns, and grandsons Ethan and Mason Wynns of Denver, Colorado; and his youngest daughter Jolie Yun Yun Tin, son-in-law Jay Lieberman, and granddaughters Min and Talia Lieberman of Memphis, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in odd dollar amounts, in accordance with Guangdong tradition, to honor the deceased.
