Mrs. Joan Robinson Bernardini

Joan R. Bernardini, 83, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Joan was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Joan developed her passion for oil painting and catering yet nothing was as important to her as her love for her family. Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Nello “Gene” Bernardini. She leaves her daughter, Lisa (Lamar) Spencer of Germantown; a son E.W. “Bill” (Becky) Bernardini of Olive Branch, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family thanks the entire staff at Quince Nursing Home and the staff of Crossroads Hospice for taking wonderful care of our mother. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
