Born on March 16, 1952, in Memphis, Joanne was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Geraldine Garrett. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Raymond Moore, and her brother, William Garrett, Sr. Joanne carried the love of her family with her throughout her life and found strength in the memories they shared.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Wendy Moore; her cherished granddaughter, Renee Moore; and her sister, Vickie Hilliard. Joanne’s family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in being a mother and grandmother.
Joanne had a vibrant spirit and a wide range of interests that reflected her warmth and personality. She had a deep love for horses and enjoyed watching classic westerns. She was especially fond of dream catchers and found joy in watching Korean soap operas. Joanne treasured her trips to the beach and her visits to Walt Disney World, where she created lasting memories with those she loved. She also enjoyed playing darts and was an enthusiastic square dancer, always ready to join in with laughter and music.
A faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Joanne’s faith was an important part of her life. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her strong spirit, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
Joanne’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
