JOE RONALD CASSINI, 71, of Collierville, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, December 22 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar. Masonic Memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, December 23 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Ave. Burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. Mr. Cassini was a past master and member of Unity Masonic Lodge, past patron of OES, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, member of Al Chymia Shrine, member of Hillbilly Unit and past Monarch of Zaman Grotto, and retired from the Shelby County Government. Mr. Cassini was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mattie Cassini. He leaves his wife of 12 years, Wanda Pepper Cassini; one sister, Judi Cassini of Memphis; one brother, Eddie Cassini (Eileen) of Germantown, many wonderful stepchildren, Dick Pepper (Christy), Paula Miresties (Nick), Bruce Pepper (Kelly), and Debbie Nabors (Mike); and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has many loving nieces and nephews, Nedoly Miller (Carl), Chuck Miller, Coni Mobley (Greg), Cari Smith (Mark) and Kenny Cassini (Jessica). Memorials may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
