Dear Bettye and family, I love y'all. I loved hearing Joe preach and I especially loved his sense of humor. He meant more to me than he ever knew. Daddy considered him a loyal friend.  Mother loved being around Joe. It saddens me so to know earth had lost such men of God but the heavens are rejoicing. I will always remember Joe with a smile on my face. Much love to you.

They were our neighbors at Pickwick , then we bought their house when they moved back to Memphis. In our opinion they were the best!  Just being around them was the best feeling you could have such Happy, Positive people! They were there lots for us! And missed them so much when they moved back. But as I write this and sitting in his chair in his Sunroom I fill we have apart of him still here with us! We loved you Mr. Joe and still love you Ms. Bettye, Fran and Tommy Jordan.

I really enjoyed my visit to Pickwick with Sue Thornton Roberts. I am an avid history lover and  I got to visit Shiloh battlefield. I remember Joe taking me to Corinth, MS too. He was great conmpany as was Bettye. Pickwick times were special memories to everyone who had the opportunity to visit. The family is in my prayers during their time of mourning.
