What can I say? Johnny was one of a kind - and everything wrapped in one package. He was a very smart, kind, generous and hilarious man! For everyone he crossed paths with, he left a special mark in their hearts. I will always remember growing up in the best neighborhood because of the friends, good times & cherished memories. Johnny was the glue of our n'borhood and our pillar of strength. I will never forget the infamous camper, watching baby chicks in the incubator, quail, my first cigarette, first beer, the facts of life, & helping me with my roller skates key- just to name a few! Just saw this through a mutual friend.  I coached Cheri and Jeannie on a softball team and John was one of the parents who helped out.  He was great with the girls and was a very supportive parent.  I enjoyed coaching with him.  Prayers for the family.

John was a very genuine man. He was always very nice to me when we worked together @ AZ. He kept us laughing with his many jokes and good spirit. He also made the best chocolate stout I've ever tasted in my life. Cheers to a very kindhearted man. May your kind soul forever be remembered. Rest in Heaven kind sir. In a short time John became a member of our family too. We appreciate that he accepted our son into his family as well. Wish we'd had longer to know him. Wishing you comfort in your memories.

John Carr was an angel on this earth and at work. I will truly miss him and the smile that he always had on his face.
The garden was full of Beautiful flowers and God wanted one. So he plucked the one that he wanted and it was John. Rest in Peace.

John will be sorely missed by all.  We worked together for many years and we became friends.  We had offices next to one another for many years and we were always laughing and cutting up.  John brought his infectious humor to work and helped everyone be able to laugh when we sometimes thought we couldn't.  He was a bright spot to us all.

Your family was the obvious highlight of your life and your purpose on this earth.  You served them well...and we all felt like we knew them through your stories.

So long, John.  You'll be missed, buddy. Godspeed and rest easy in the Lord.

John was the first childhood friend I ever met. From alter boys and baseball to the golf course in the his back yard. His Dad cooking on the grill listening to cardinal baseball. Prayers and best wishes.
