Jon Albert Taylor, III, 44, of Memphis, died May 29, 2012. A mechanic by trade, he was a Memphis City boy, friend to all, and a big man with a bigger heart. He is survived by his loving family, who will miss him very much; his wife, Dinky Hegwood; mother, Ernestine Kitchin; sisters, Peggy and Lisa; brother-in-law, Clyde; stepson, Chase Hegwood and daughter-in-law, Cherish Hegwood; grandchildren, Juliet and Cole, who were his heart, and nieces and nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue, Friday, June 1, from 5-8 p.m. and again Saturday at 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Memphis and Shelby County Humane Society.
