Joyce Grubbs Boudra

Joyce Grubbs Boudra, a lifelong Memphian, died on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Methodist North Hospital. She was only 70 years old. Born on September 11, 1945, she is the daughter of the late Cleveland Cleophus & Bessie Keel Grubbs. Joyce graduated from West Side High School in 1963 and was a member of Forest View Church of Christ. Her working career ended as an International Package Tracer for FedEx and prior to that she was an x-ray technician. The family will gather on Tuesday, February 16 from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening and funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 17 beginning at ten o’clock in the morning all at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. Burial will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery and Mr. Dan Green will lead all of the services. Mrs. Boudra is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Murry F. Boudra; brothers Edward Grubbs of West Memphis, Arkansas and Harry (Mary Louise) Grubbs of Nesbit, MS; several nieces & nephews, other extended family and close friends. Contributions in lieu of customary remembrances may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice in Joyce’s honor.
