Judith Anne Haynes

Mrs. Haynes was a loving and devoted wife and mother as well as devout Christian. She attended Bellevue Baptist Church for many years. She graduated from the DeShazo College of Music and attended the University of Memphis. She was an accomplished pianist and played at Bellevue Baptist Church, Germantown Baptist Church and many others as well as at nursing homes.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, George W. Haynes, daughter Heather P. (Dr. John Andrew) Chaney, two sons, George W. (LaArnie) Haynes, Jr. and Gregory Miller (Janet) Haynes, seven grandchildren; Preston Haynes, Astrid Haynes, Adam Haynes, Nicholas Haynes, Benjamin Haynes, Margaret Chaney and John Knox Chaney. She also leaves behind one great-grandchild, Nora Haynes.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Ridgeway Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m.
