Larry Eugene Bell, 79, of Memphis Tennessee, passed away on June 11 2023. He retired from the Memphis city schools as a pest control technician. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. He was a kind and gentle husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, he had a very giving spirit. He loved his family and spending time reminiscing about times past. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Bell and Hilda Summers, and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bell. He was survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Ann Bell, his son, David Bell (Kimberly); grandchildren, Ethan Bell, Christian Bell (Lexi), Kristina Hastings (Niles), and Ashley Herring (Michael); and a great-grandson, Sawyer Hastings.
A visitation for Larry will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leawood Baptist Church, 3638 Macon Road, Memphis, TN 38122, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
