Larry Eugene Burton, Sr. was born on July 17, 1937 and passed away on April 9, 2015 at the age of 77. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Burton and Oleene Ferguson Burton; sister, Glenda Lukefahr; and brothers, John Burton and Fred Burton. He is survived by his loving wife of 57years, Doris Manning Burton; son, Larry Eugene Burton, Jr.; daughters, Leigh Anne Burton and Christie Burton; grandchildren, Reed Burton and Olivia Burton; brother, Richard Burton; and sister, Emma Hurdle. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. on Monday, April 13 from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 1:00pm at the Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, MS.
