Lester Nicholas Pascal

Les was born February 16, 1932,  in Chicago to Frieda and Nicholas Pascal. After serving in the Air Force, he went to college and graduated from De Paul. He was the devoted husband of Clare Schwartz for 63 years before her passing in 2020. They settled in Memphis where he worked as an accountant and where they raised their family and were founding members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Les leaves behind three children, Michael Pascal (Carol), Robert Pascal (Leslie), and Leslie Parker (Randy); seven grandchildren: Nicholas Pascal, Joseph Pascal (Shelby), Avery Pascal, Willoughby Parker (Aurélie), Sarah-Clare Parker, Bronwyn “Bonnie” Pascal (Matt) and Phillip Pascal (Catie); and one great-granddaughter, Katherine Louise.

Les was a member of the Knights of Columbus, The Serra Club, The Society of St. Vincent DePaul and other organizations and volunteered in the soup kitchen at St. Mary’s Church.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Ave Maria who always took good care of Les.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Ave Maria on Saturday, December 27 with Visitation at 12:30 PM and the Mass starting at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul–Memphis.
