Lou was born in Belzoni, MS to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles White.
Lou is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of almost 57 years, Angelo Martino, sons David (Jean), Chris, her grandchildren, Anthony and Sarah, (all of Memphis) who were her pride and joy, her four legged, constant companion, Niko and her brother, Mark (Leighann) White of Nashville, TN, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles White, her mother, Myrtle White, her brother, Charlie White, and her best friend and sister, Kay Johnston and nephew Jason Johnston.
Lou and Angelo met in high school in 1960 and were married on June 16, 1963. Lou retired from Methodist Hospital.
The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the prayers, love and support shown by family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends for Lou will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 5:00 PM.
