Louis Miller, Jr.

Louis Miller, Jr., 82, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Southaven, MS. Mr. Miller was retired from Lucent/AT&T and a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was a big fan of LSU Football and enjoyed golfing. He loved everything Cajun, the music, the dancing, the Crawfish Festivals and especially the Cajun Festivals, which gave him an opportunity to fulfill another joy of his and that was to watch the ladies. But above all he adored his family; he was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather as well as a loving husband to Mary Elizabeth Miller until she preceded him in death after 58 years of marriage. He is survived by three daughters, Ramona Blankenship (Bill), Rebecca Mitchell, Pamela Burr (Michael); one brother, Roland Miller (Linda); five grandchildren, Heather, Louis, Andrea, Stephanie, Brittany; and twelve great grandchildren. The family will receive guest for fellowship and refreshments from 1 to 2 pm Saturday, September 10th with funeral service to start at 2 pm all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Burial will follow in Forest-Hill Midtown Cemetery.
