

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth McKenzie, and her grandparents, George Cartwright and Birdie Mae Price.
Lynne is survived by her loving mother, Shirley McKenzie of Germantown, Tennessee; her brother, Keith McKenzie of Hackettstown, New Jersey; her aunt, Maxine Marbut and husband Jim of Springfield, Missouri; and her uncle, David Cartwright of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She is also survived by her cherished niece, Ava McKenzie, and nephew, Connor McKenzie, of Fanwood, New Jersey, as well as her beloved James/Cartwright family cousins from Dexter and Springfield, Missouri, with whom she shared many treasured memories growing up. Being with her family brought Lynne immense joy throughout her life.
Lynne was a woman of deep faith, a devoted Christian, and a member of the Baptist faith. She was also an active member of Republican Women of Purpose and enjoyed volunteering at local events and supporting her community whenever she could.
Throughout her career, Lynne worked as an Administrative Assistant, a profession in which she took great pride. She also possessed a special gift for caring for others, particularly the elderly. Over the years, she lovingly provided companion care and support to many men and women, becoming a trusted source of comfort not only to those she cared for, but also to their families. Her compassion, patience, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on many lives.
Among Lynne’s greatest accomplishments was the devoted care she gave to her beloved grandmother, Birdie Price, to whom she was deeply dedicated. She never grew tired of doing thoughtful things for her grandmother, especially making sure she always had her favorite lipstick. Lynne also faithfully supported her parents during difficult times, particularly while her father was under Hospice care during the COVID pandemic. She tirelessly ran errands and did endless shopping to help keep her parents safe and cared for. These quiet acts of love and devotion reflected the kind and selfless person Lynne was.
Lynne will be remembered for her caring spirit, unwavering faith, dedication to family, and the gentle love she shared so freely with others. Her memory will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
