She was born in Osceola, Ark and lived in Memphis, TN most of her life. She was employed by Memphis General Depot, Bellevue Baptist Church, Quartermaster Corp., Ft. Lee Virginia, and Colonial Baptist Church as founding librarian in 1961 and continued in that position for the rest of her life. Services will be held Friday, November 17th at 11am at Colonial Baptist Church.
