Born April 20, 1935 in Washington County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Russell and Lillian Courtney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Boyd Lindsey of Memphis, Tennessee, in 2002.
She is survived by her daughter of 63 years, Mary Kathryn Lindsey of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her son of 59 years, Charles Boyd Lindsey.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Pittman officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church 4649 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
