Marjorie Burns Sanders

A native of Arkansas. She was born July 1, 1929 in Pine Bluff, AR, to the late John Henry Burns and Mary Koonce Burns.

Mrs. Sanders was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School and Judkin Commercial College in Pine Bluff, AR.

She married the late Harry B. Sanders, June 2, 1951 in Pine Bluff, and assisted him in his dental practice in Memphis until his retirement.

She is survived by her brother, Johnny H. Burns, his three children and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Alpha Burns Rodman (Denton) of North Little Rock, AR and brother-in-law, Denton Rodman, of North Little Rock, AR, sister-in-law, Donna Burns and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11 from 1:00 to 1:50pm with a graveside service to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00pm "Behind the Stone Wall"
