Martha L Miller

Martha L. Miller, 87, passed away October 12th 2017 in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Martha was preceded in death in 2006 by her loving husband of over 50 years, Lloyd A. Miller, whom she met while she was in nursing school. After completing nursing school, Martha went to work for the Methodist Hospital system in the OR as a nurse. She then went on to complete training to become a profusionist where she helped to open the LeBonheur Hospital open heart program here in Memphis, Tn. After a fulfilling career in nursing she retired in 2003. Martha enjoyed her friends, her bridge club and raising greyhounds. Left behind with fond memories of her, one daughter Shari Braswell (Scott), three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as one sister Pat Nelson (Bill) and one brother Ret. Brigadier General Charles Linz (Peggie) of North Little rock, AR. A celebration of her life service will take place, Monday 10am, graveside at Memphis Memory Gardens at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd in Memphis, TN.
