We are pleased to announce the celebration of the life of Mary Sue Farris born March 24, 1935 to the parents of Earnest and Cleo Thornton in Burdette, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank T. Farris, Sr., her parents and sisters: Ruby Dean, Virginia Grant, Doris Springer and her brother Junior Thornton. She is survived by her son Frank T. Farris Jr. of Memphis, daughter Mary Sloan Farris of Colorado Springs, grandchildren Christine Michele and Emily Gene Farris, sisters Dottie Albertine, Patricia Piper and brother Billie Thornton. Sue loved life to the fullest, she worked in retail with maternity clothing, her gifting was making women feel beautiful and special. She was a woman of great faith and had a strong love of family. She journeyed on to the Kingdom of God November 29, 2013.
