Megan Godinez

Megan Poulos Godinez, age 92, passed away March 3, 2015. She was born in North Wales, Great Britain June 22, 1922. She was a WWII veteran of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company after 25 years of service. She is preceded in death by her father William Hughes, mother Gwendoline Hughes, siblings, former husband Charlie Poulos, and husband Alfonzo Godinez. She is survived by two daughters, Gwendoline Good and Carolyn Roach; son-in-law Michael Roach; son, Charles (Chuck) Poulos and daughter-in-law, Jane Poulos; granddaughter, Allison Lindsey and her husband, Michael Lindsey; and grandson, Eric Poulos. She is also survived by sisters-in law, Eileen Hughes and Shirley Poulos; stepchildren, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews in America and Europe. She was a member of East Win Christian Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at East Win Christian Church, 4350 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125 on Sunday, March 8, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., and memorial service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the charity of choice or to East Win Christian Church.
