Michael Todd Phipps On December 13, 2013, Michael Todd Phipps went to be with the Lord. He was born March 5, 1952 in Memphis, TN. He was a proud Memphian and a graduate of Sheffield High School. Mike is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy Walton Phipps, sons Jason and Justin, and grandsons Hudson and Brady. Mike was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. He is also survived by loving in-laws, Carolyn Phipps, Bobby and Joyce Walton, William and Susan Sigler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hardie and Elizabeth, and his brother, Hardie, Jr. He was a loyal employee of Hill-Rom Ind. and Moore and Sons, both for 20 + years. Hunting season could never get here fast enough for Mike. He looked forward to vacationing on Florida beaches with his family every summer. Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Getwell Road United Methodist Church, 7875 Getwell Rd in Southaven, Ms 10:30 a.m. followed by the service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or acharity of the donor's choice .
