Mrs. Martha Frances Bishop, was 96 when she passed away on Tuesday February 5, 2019 in the comfort of her home. She leaves behind a legacy of strong family values. She knew no stranger, and welcomed you in as family, feeding you whether you were hungry or not. She became a widowed mother in 1963. By example, she taught us to keep spiritual faith no matter what life diversities were thrown our way. After her husband passed, her best friend taught her how to drive so that she could start her career. She worked at Yarbrough Cable Service as a bookkeeper/secretary, and retired after 28 years. She also had a life long passion for children's ministry. At Raleigh Baptist Church (now Bartlett Hills Baptist), She shared God's word in the 4 year old class for 63 years. Some of her favorite songs to sing with them were "Jesus Loves Me" "Jesus Loves the little Children" and "I've got the Joy Joy Joy Joy". We will never know how many lives she touch, but we know it's an abundance. She was a kind, loving, and Godly woman who is treasured by so many. We will love you always and miss you dearly our sweet and precious Maw Maw.
