Nancy Hendley Mannon, 80, of Memphis, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 11th at Methodist North Hospital. She was born in Memphis, September 6, 1933 to the late George Washington and Cora Morris Hendley. Mrs. Mannon was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and H&R Block. She was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pate Mannon. Her life and her legacy will be cherished by her children: Debra Nichols (Tom), Karen Page, John Mannon (Debbie); 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 cats: Trouble, Cassie, Tipper, and a host of friends. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Alan, Harvey, and Samuel Hendley. Visitation will begin at 1pm and Funeral Services at 2pm on Friday at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
