Patrick William Thomasson, 76, died May 28, 2017 after a long illness at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee. Visitation will be at 9:30am on Friday, June 2nd at St. Paul Catholic Church followed by services at 11:00am and burial at Calvary Cemetery. Mr Thomasson was born October 6, 1940, in Memphis, Tennessee to Charles and Mary Thomasson. Patrick loved fishing and watching his children and grandchildren playing sports, but perhaps his favorite pastime was following the University of Arkansas football team. Even with his failing health he was often heard calling the Hogs and rooting for his team. He worked 40 years for Memphis Light Gas and Water where he retired. He is survived by Joel Christopher Thomasson, Susan T. Kirkpatrick, John Patrick Thomasson, Jennifer L Thomasson and eight grandchildren.
