
At age sixteen she moved to Memphis and began work at Sears and Roebucks' Memphis Crosstown location. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Memphis. She met and married Larry Glenn Eason and raised their son, Brian Eason. Patti and Larry loved to travel extensively, especially on fishing trips. Their time was also spent on the Little Red River, in Heber Springs, Arkansas and on the Kenai River, in Soldotna, Alaska. She was a member of Park Avenue Church of Christ. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking, regularly baking cookies for local law enforcement (both in Memphis and Alaska) and the Memphis VA Medical Center. She also volunteered as a bell-ringer for the Salvation Army.
Patti is survived by her son, Brian (Roberta) and grandchildren, Jack Eason, Charlie Eason, and Lara Eason. She is also survived by two brother, Jim Winemiller (Carol) and Jerry Winemiller (Karen). She was preceded in death by her late husband, Larry and her sister, Leola.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Monday, October 13 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, at Park Avenue Church of Christ, 5295 Park Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Graveside committal service will follow at 2:00 PM, at Dowell's Chapel Cemetery, Jackson Cty Rd 69, Tuckerman (Swifton), AR 72471.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Salvation Army or Samaritan's Purse.
