Peggy Kelley Stacks

Peggy J. Kelley Stacks, 72, of Southaven, MS, passed away on March 4, 2015, after a long illness. Peggy retired after 40 years of service as a banker, with Union Planters, Leader Federal, and NBC of Memphis, TN. She was born and raised in Scotts Hill, TN. Mrs. Stacks was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kelley; her brother, Elmer Kelley, Jr.; 3 sisters, Dorothy K. Hayes, Louise K. Wheatley, and Wilma K. Hart. She is survived by her brother, J. Paul Kelley; her sister, Gayle Kelley; her extended family, Doris Binkley and her family, Kay Napper and her family; 3 nephews; and 2 nieces. Peggy was a member of Scotts Hill Methodist Church, and she will be buried in the church cemetery on Monday. The family will gather with friends on Sunday, March 8, at 4:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue, and funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. The family requests lasting memorials be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, Scotts Hill Methodist Church, or the Methodist Hospice Residence on Quince Road.
