RC "Clyde" Jones

RC “Clyde” Jones passed away on August 5, 2019 at the age of 68. As a truck driver for 48 years he was very proud to have logged in 4 million miles from coast to coast. He ended his final journey with Warfield Point Associates in Greenville, MS. He was also a great dancer and loved to have a good time. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his first wife, Billye Sue Jones; brother, Dennis Clyde Jones; and his parents, Clyde and Ettie Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Sarah Diane Holloway Jones; daughter, Sarah Beth Jones Hendrix (Ken); two grandchildren, Karly Hendrix (age 4) and Michael Thomas Hendrix (age 8 months); three nieces and nephews, Les Jones, Melanie McCrory Mathews, and Duke McCrory. Family will receive guests on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Balmoral Baptist Church, 2676 Kirby Rd., Memphis, TN 38119 from 1 to 2 pm. A Celebration of His Life service will begin at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project.
