Robert Gorman McDougall, 86, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Baptist Collierville Hospital. Born and raised in Refrew, Scotland; he came to the United States in 1956, settling in New Jersey where he spend most of his life. Mr. McDougall retired on the New Jersey shore. The McDougall’s were lifelong members of Brick Presbyterian Church in New Jersey. Robert and Margaret moved to Collierville, TN to live with his son, Don and Mary McDougall seven years ago, and joined Collierville Presbyterian Church. Mr. McDougall was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret McDougall. He is survived by his sons, John (Allison) McDougall of Lewisville, Colorado; Don (Mary) McDougall of Collierville; and his grandchildren, Meghan, Aspen, Margaret, and Robert. All services will be private.
