Salma F. Dawoud

Salma F. Dawoud, 76, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away peacefully on July 15, 2018. She was born in Lebanon on January 15, 1942 to the late Farid Khneisser and Arabia Haddad. She worked in London as a nurse where she met Dr. Samir Dawoud. The two married in 1972 and they moved to the United States in 1975, earning her citizenship in 1982. They welcomed their son, Michael, later that year. She worked part-time as a nurse during their time in New Jersey. They moved to the Memphis area in 1984. Salma enjoyed cooking and making a home for her family. She was a devoted wife and a beloved mother.
